Brittny
On monday we had a special guest, her name has Brittny . She does medical and biological drawings. She even drew for us right there in the classroom. She has made drawings for u of m and some of her work is in magazines. Her website has all of her drawings. All and all it was really cool to have here come in and draw for us.

Sanjay's Dad
Sanjay's dad came on friday last week and talked to us about simulation. He works for the biggest company in the world that makes simulation software. There are different ways of simulation, big companies have fancy wind tunnels but they are very expensive. You need simulation though, because it lets you know whats going to work and whats not going to work.

Leo's Grandpa
Leo's grandpa came in May 1st to talk about sound and sound waves. He explained how sound travels through the air, what hertz are, and Leo's grandma explained how the inner ear works and what it looks like. Leo's grandpa also demonstrated these things using props like a slinky. Finally we all played Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star using bottles with varying levels of water.
